Mitch is excited to be part of this project and really looks forward to working with this cast. Since 2009, Mitch has acted in a number of productions with Olmsted Performing Arts including Duke Senior (As You Like It), Ralph (A Christmas Story), The Toymaker (Babes in Toyland), and Simon Stride (Jekyll and Hyde). In addition to these roles, Mitch has taken a number of acting classes with Lauren Berry including Film Acting Intensive, Improvisation Intensive, and Film Acting Workshop with Ed Johnston. He also an avid 5-string bluegrass banjo player and original member of local bands JP and the Chatfield Boys and Craic.
"LESLIE" played by DEBRA HERZOG
Debra Herzog was born in Malden, Massachusetts and spent her youth in rural Ohio growing up in a small university town. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Herzog has had a successful development career in the publishing, health, and tourism industries. Not until raising three children into their tween years was her talent for acting discovered. Since then Herzog has appeared in film, commercials, print ads and voiceovers. She made her television debut with WGN America on Outsiders as a member of the Kinnah tribe. Herzog resides near Cleveland, Ohio with her husband and children.

Kathy is a retired Registered Nurse who recently rediscovered her love for acting. which began many years ago when she performed with The Garfield Heights Little Theater. Over the past year, Kathy has appeared in several feature films and television shows in a variety of roles from background to supporting lead. She is represented by The Talent Group.
"RENE" played by MEG RASMUSSEN
Meg Rasmussen has appeared in several, television and film productions. You may have seen her in a supporting role in Disappeared, Episode 901 Edge of Fourteen the Ashley Summers Story as Aunt Renee, and in a featured role in White Boy Rick as Gun Show Annie. She performed the lead female role in Lunch as Emily Mansfield, and has been seen lurking in the background of Little Evil, My Friend Dahmer and Legacy. Meg’s ability to show real/raw emotion has captivated directors and lead them to ask for more. Meg studied at Cleveland State University, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Film and Journalism. She also studied acting directly under James Madio at the James Madio Studios in Chagrin Falls, along with Lauren Nichols at Olmsted Performing Arts in Strongsville and Tom Cullinan at the Houde School in Coventry, Ohio. Meg has studied stunt work for film and television under Richard Fike, Sr. and Garrett Warren. Furthering her education, she has a Law Degree from CSU John Marshall Law School and is also a licensed Realtor in the state of Ohio. A native of Ohio, Meg also lived in Hawaii where she learned to bodyboard, jet ski and snorkel. Her hobbies include: Writing, Painting, Exercise and Fitness. Ruben Ryan is an actor and comedian, who has performed stand-up in New York, Chicago, and his home state of Ohio. He is actively a member of three improv groups including: Point of No Return, Something Dada and Just Go With it Improv. He also appeared in the indie movie Circle Track Summer.
"AMORA" played by KAITLYN ISABELLA VILT
Being born and raised in Cleveland, Kaitlyn has been programmed from a young age-- like most of her fellow Clevelanders-- to be ignorant of any flaw and proud of every tiny spec of hope found within her city. She’s loyal to the bitter end. Her interest in acting was sparked as a child because of her father’s ability to do many accents. From there, it has been a long journey of school plays, dance performances, and any chance she could get to entertain people. After spending her entire life in Cleveland she travelled abroad and spent one year volunteering with Mercyships. When she returned home, Kaitlyn started ballroom dancing while attending Kent State University. Currently, she is pursuing a career as a professional dancer and actress and can’t wait to see what lies ahead!

Haily has spent her entire 18 years as a Mentor Ohio resident. She attended Mentor High School, where she was involved in many activities including the orchestra, cross country and drama. Haily has since pursued her acting career through classes from Pro Model and Talent Agency. she traveled to Los Angeles to attend The International Model and Talent Association, where she drew interest from talent agents and was awarded a scholarship to The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts which took her across country to New York City where she attended classes at the conservatory. She has since continued her acting education by working in multiple plays, and classes in Columbus Ohio. She is very excited about the role in Below Average Joe and looks forward to continued success in her acting career.

Ann Shamess is a native Cleveland OH girl, born and raised. She obtained a BA in Business Administration and Psychology. Worked for many years in hospital laboratories and then followed her mother’s footsteps in Real Estate. Ann has been married to her best friend Tom for 30+ years and loves life to the fullest. Now, after all this time she’s ready to pursue her next chapter in life, acting! Ann has been studying acting for the past few years and has trained in script analysis, acting for the camera, audition technique, and improv. She has put these skills to good use in the films “Let’s Just Be Friends” ,” Cleveland Abduction”, “White Boy Rick”, and “American Poltergeist – Curse of Lilith Ratchet” . She is thrilled to be joining the cast of Below Average Jo
"FRANK THE LANDLORD" played by CHRIS HERAK, future episodes
Chris is very happy being included in this marvelous project. Chris has done mostly theater work over the past four years at theater's from Rabbit Run in Madison to French Creek in Sheffield Lake. He has also been in several movies produced in Cleveland, from a party goer, to a juror and also ending up on the cutting room floor. Chris has been a lifelong Cleveland area resident (Euclid, Richmond Hts) and is a proud retired member of the Euclid Fire Department, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant.
"JAKE" played by DAVID LEFAYE
David is a local actor/writer who spends his time balancing film and theatre work while finishing up a writing degree. He enjoys good music, great hot sauce and stressing over the Browns.
"BATHROOM ATTENDANT" played by DARRYL GRAVES
Darryl grew up in Berea, OH and met his wife, Susan, at Tri-C Western Campus. They have three children and five grandchildren. After completing his education at Kent State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and Cleveland State University with a Master’s Degree in Education Administration, he was a teacher, coach, and school administrator, prior to retiring as a Superintendent of Schools. He also served as a policeman after graduating from the Police Academy. After retirement Darryl became a private investigator and was instrumental in solving a major murder case. Darryl recently became involved in acting, and to his amazement, he enjoys it very much. Recent acting activities include background in several independent movies, as well as lifestyle shoots. Darryl is represented by The Talent Group.

"Fast food Manager" played by ANDREW GORDON
Andrew Gordon has been a theatre actor for over ten years and has been in productions for theatres all over Northeast Ohio including Twinsburg, Aurora, Akron, and Chagrin Falls. He has won several awards for his acting from the Ohio Community Theatre Association. He has been training for film for the last two years and has been involved in several award winning short films. He has immersed himself in all aspects of filmmaking and has gained experience as a Production Assistant as well as Second Unit Director on the feature film, Anhedonia.
He runs a consulting business with his wife, Adrienne. He currently serves on the board for the Lakewood Young Filmmakers Academy. He also hosts the annual tree lighting event in Twinsburg, Luminocity, with his daughter. He is an accomplished Ironman and Ultrarunner having completed several 100 mile trail races.
"GRANDMA BONNIE" played by SUSAN GRAVES
Susan grew up in Parma, Ohio and met her husband, Darryl, of almost fifty years at Tri-C. They have three children, and five grandchildren, and presently reside in Brunswick, Ohio. Susan worked as a career paralegal for many years. Because she was busy working and raising her children, she did not have time to think that acting may be a fun part of her life; BUT IT IS! She is presently studying with Lauren Ashley Berry through Olmsted Performing Arts, and is represented by The Talent Group. Susan was a stand-in for Piper Laurie in "White Boy Rick", as well as background in two of the films scenes. Susan has been involved in other projects, including lifestyle shoots and background in several movies, as well as Standardized Patient through the Cleveland Clinic.
"RESTAURANT PATRON" played by TERRY PATTERSON
Terry has always had a very active imagination and a love for science fiction. His first career was all-in for computers once he figured out he would never be able to handle the math to make a working warp drive. (Sorry folks!) The imagination is again back, front and center. He performs both improv and stand-up comedy, and continues to study those crafts as well as acting.

Eric is thrilled to be a part of this project with the hard-working Patricia and Gregg Napoli along with this beautiful cast! Eric is a dramatic and musical theatre actor from Ohio who also works film and TV. Fresh off an original play at the Akron Civic Theatre he can also be seen in some pieces currently circulating the film festival circuit. Special thanks to his wife Kathi who has put up with his shenanigans for 20 years now!
